What sets MBL apart from other guest ranches is the personal touch and attention that each and every guest will experience during their stay. From the interaction with Debbie and Tim themselves to our amazing team members. We want this to be an extraordinary opportunity for them to unplug, unwind, to truly enjoy and reconnect with their families.
The amenities are wide ranging from the gourmet home cooked meals, to the exquisite beauty they will be surrounded by as they ride the trails on horseback, hike, fish, canoe, try their hand at archery, and target shooting its all here! The lodge is a beautiful place to relax and unwind, play a little pool or curl up with a book from our library. We want these photos and videos to reflect our belief family time is precious and this is the perfect adventure for all families- large and small. “Keeping It Real & Authentic” captures the essence of MBL.
Guests who have riding experience will be allowed to be more adventurous and go on fast rides, which includes loping and trotting guided by our well-trained wranglers. Medicine Bow Lodge has a lot of first-time riders. No worries, you will be in great hands. Our wranglers will make sure that you are comfortable in your saddle and with each ride, you become more confident. Before you know it you will want to go on the All Day Ride and or join Medicine Bow Lodge’s popular overnight pack trip. Children and teens love riding here at Medicine Bow Lodge.
Families are encouraged to ride together, but at the same time, we don’t want to hold guests back that are more advanced with riding abilities. Medicine Bow Lodge allows children from 6 and up to ride horses. Children and teens will have the opportunity to play games on the horses, Medicine Bow Lodge way.
We can’t forget the young children 5 and under. Our kid’s wrangler will gently lead your young one on a horse around the grounds of the ranch. This is a great time to take advantage with a picture moment. Medicine Bow Lodge has a very diverse riding program. Below is a list of what we offer for our guests to enjoy during their stay.
